SINTEF Energy Research is an applied research institute dedicated to creating innovative energy solutions. They specialize in cutting-edge, research-based knowledge and infrastructure, both in Norway and internationally. Hydropower is one of the key research areas, with a focus on developing efficient hydropower production methods that also respect nature, the local environment, and wildlife. SINTEF Energy Research is part of the SINTEF group, a non-profit research foundation, and one of Europe's largest independent research institutes.

The International Hydropower Association (IHA) is the global voice of sustainable hydropower. It is a non-profit membership organisation committed to sustainable hydropower. Its mission is to advance sustainable hydropower by building and sharing knowledge on its role in renewable energy systems, responsible freshwater management and climate change solutions. IHA seeks to achieve this through monitoring the hydropower sector, building an open, innovative and trusted platform for knowledge, and advancing strategies that strengthen performance.

vgbe energy e.V.

vgbe energy e.V. is the technical association of energy plant operators, focusing on operation and maintenance from a techno-economic and ecological perspective as well as application-oriented research, and featuring a Technical Competence Center Hydro Power.

GE Vernova’s Hydro Power turbines and generators represent more than 25% of the total installed capacity worldwide. The portfolio of solutions for hydropower generation includes the broadest range of hydro solutions and services: from water to wire, from individual equipment to complete turnkey solutions, for new plants and the installed base.
Always keeping the environment in mind, GE Vernova engineering teams participate in ReHydro to complement its "fish-friendly“ equipment portfolio with turbines specifically designed to maximize the survival rate of eels.
