Forces Motrices de la Gougra SA (FMG) is a multi-reservoir, multi-plant asset in the Anniviers and Tourtemagne valleys in Switzerland. It is majority-owned and managed by ALPIQ. Currently, FMG is going through a decade-long refurbishment initiative that aligns with ReHydro’s goals.

01. Objectives
Develop a monitoring system that integrates indicators such as turbine efficiency, sediment concentration, runner damage index, and frequency response into a smarter decision-making and optimisation tool
Quantify the impact of new sediment-passing turbine operating conditions on sediment connectivity downstream of the reservoir
Demonstrate innovative approaches to refurbishment project evaluations
